No way...they were some good years, but I wouldn't want to repeat them. Visiting them is enough for me!

I was the founder/ first president of the art club (I named it Media Project), an officer for Habitat for Humanity, and the Organizer of Events/Benefits for the National Art Honor Society.

I talk to Chad every once in a while.

Yessss...even tho it was hot as hell and I was covered with glitter in places I didn't even know existed.

I won't bore you all too much with my ramblings, but it always makes me feel better when I write about the things going on in my life. Case in point, last night. I got home from work @ 10pm, checked my cell phone (which I conveniently forgot on my rush out the door 4 hrs. earlier), and saw that there were 17--SEVENTEEN!!!--voicemails. Long story short, my mom was rushed to the ER with severe shortness of breath. Turns out, she was having an anxiety attack that was stress induced. Of course, we don't get told this until 2am, when she walks out into the waiting room looking like nothing ever happened. SIGH. I hate hospitals...have spent more time in them than I care to rememeber...but, of course, I'd go because of my mom. I'm just glad it's over with. So yea, didn't get home til 2:30am..I hadn't eaten dinner yet and I was sooo tired, I just crashed. And I didn't bother to set my alarm for work the next morning...I just slept til 9, then made my way in. The boss understood, thankfully.

I can't believe it's July already. Half of the freakin' year is gone. It's almost spooky how quickly it went. Anyway, Happy July, and I hope all my American f-listers are gonna have a great 4th of July weekend! I'm leaving for the beach early Friday morning for some much needed R&R (and fireworks over the ocean! *squee*). I'll be back on Sunday, with lots to catch up on, I'm sure, lol!

'300' Sequel Officially in the Works
A follow-up to the 2007 blockbuster ''300'' is getting rolling, with Frank Miller writing

Legendary Pictures, the production company behind the 2007 blockbuster 300, has confirmed the inevitable: Development of a sequel is underway. The project will begin as a graphic novel that Frank Miller, who penned the comic on which the movie 300 was based, is writing. There's some speculation that it could be a prequel, since most of the characters in 300, about the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, perished at the end of the story. Thus, there's no word yet on whether star Gerard Butler will return as King Leonidas.

Zack Snyder, who directed 300 to a $456 million worldwide gross, won't board the project until after he's read Miller's manuscript. In the meantime, Snyder is putting the finishing touches on the film version of another hot comic property, Watchmen, which is due to be released next March, two years to the day after 300 hit theaters. Though Hollywood pundits have always assumed that a follow-up to 300 would be in the offing, serious chatter about the project only heated up last week, when Snyder and others discussed it at the Saturn Awards.

First of all---HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO palovana! Hope you enjoyed your day!

Weekend Re-cap ~

FRIDAY: I went to Wal-Mart and bought a new bed set. It's so comfy and I love it.

Also picked up a pair of shorts, a cheesy (but pretty!) ring, and some food.

SATURDAY: Met a friend for an early-ish IHOP breakfast @ 8. Their carrot pancakes with the butter pecan syrup...YUMMM. Worked 11-6 (felt like the longest day EVA). Then met another friend at the mall to pick up a birthday present and see Wanted. I have to say, I was impressed by the movie, even tho it's not really my thing and I was thrown off a little at the beginning with the Ferris Bueller monologue thing. Those who have seen it know what I'm talking about, LOL. But, yea, I liked it..and I recommend it! So then I get home and do all my interneting and just as I'm settling down to finish the last chapter of The Other Boleyn Girl, the freaking power goes out. It wasn't even doing anything outside..strange. Then, out of habit I guess, the ex calls me to see if my power was out too and to ask if I wanted company in the dark...WTF?! I declined and went to bed.

SUNDAY: Luckily the power was back on in the morning, so I didn't have to take my shower by candlelight (I have no window in my bathroom), which has been happening a lot lately because of bizarre power outages in my area *shrug*. Glad I shared, aren't ya? LOL. Anyway, I lazed around the house all morning and into the afternoon..around 3-ish I remembered that I had to do my grandmother's grocery shopping and trek it all the way down to Lambertville (about 25 mins. away) and be back by 5 for inventory @ work. I was an hour late..at least they understood, hehe. Inventory was...eh...uneventful. We got it done in, like, 3 1/2 hours...which is record timing for us, LOL!

Yep, so that was my weekend =P

I haven't done a wordy post in a few days, so here goes...

Because we walked around Six Flags in an assinine manor on Monday, it resulted in a huge blister on the bottom of my right foot. So big that my toes didn't even rest on the floor. It was really painful up until Wednesday night, when I finally built up the balls to pop it. Not that you guys want to know, so I'll spare you the "juicy" details...*snickers* Anyway, I'm pain-free now, in case you were wondering =)

My sunburn has finally tanned...that took a lot longer than usual. Normally, any sunburn I get, tans over before the end of the day. I woke up this morning and I have tan lines, not sunburn lines. Yay!

I'm still figuring out what I feel like doing tonight. It's the first night I've had off in a while, and I didn't makes plans for anything. Maybe I'll go into the city? Maybe I'll see Wanted tonight instead of tomorrow night? Maybe I'll just chill @ home and watch Sex & the City. *shrug*

77starshine....We need to talk, ASAP. We haven't talked in months. Makes me all sad inside.

It's noon and Vinny hasn't come in yet...I was hoping to talk to him. Yesterday he said something to me that had me thinking all night (and yes, the thinking part did hurt, lol). I was on my way out and he said "Don't even tell me you're leaving right now. You can't leave me yet. Sit back down and keep me sane until my shift is over." I couldn't, since I'd be late for my second job if I did. He looked at me all defeated. I don't know..maybe it's just my wishful thinking going into overdrive.

Anyway...I'm going to lunch now. My turkey club at the deli next door is calling me!

My Bag

The bag:

I haven't been this committed to a bag in a long time..I've been using this one for over a year
now, lol. I got it on sale at Kohl's..laugh all you want, 77starshine , but I love it. And you're
getting a sneak peak of what's inside...and there's lots more where that came from!

The contents:

Ok, I'll start in the top left corner with my glasses...I love white sunglasses! Under that is my
iPod, chapstick (never leave home without it), DKNY red apple lip gloss, and my daily meds.
Next column...my keys, Clean & Clear oil sheets (tis that time of year), my cell phone (the
cherry chocolate), and my Abercrombie & Fitch perfume (the only thing I own from that store,
might I add). Next column...my wallet, camera case, coconut lime/ aloe vera lotion (for my
ever-reddening sunburn), and navy sharpie. Next to the lotion is another lotion..coconut
vanille from Bath & Body works (smells sooo good), a tampon (even tho I don't need it right
now, you never know when someone else will), my eyelash curler, and my work ID. Finally,
on the right we have the newest edition of People Magazine (where Gerry is listed as one of
the hottest bachelors of '08), my planner, and my Juno and Sex & the City season 2 DVD's...
both of which my friend just gave back to me about 2 hours ago. And there you have it!

Outside My Window...(I have an indoor office that overlooks the warehouse) I see Marlies and Agnes walking to one of the storage rooms...and Armando following behind them with the forklift.

I am thinking...that I should probably put some more aloe on.

I am thankful for...air conditioning.

From the kitchen...(I'll use breakroom since I'm at work lol) I can smell the lunches that people are starting to heat up.

I am wearing...jean capris, white flip flops, and a pink t-shirt.

I am creating...an email to send to my boss with reports on my archiving.

I am going...away to the beach for the 4th of July weekend for a much needed mini-vacation.

I am reading... nothing at the moment. I hope to start up again soon. (ditto, Melissa!)

I am hoping...to have my hair done by the end of the week.

I am hearing..."Magic Man" by Heart on the radio.

Around the house...it's clean, which is a shocker for me!

One of my favorite things...is having time to myself, no plans, freedom to do what I want.

FRIDAY:
After work, I took my brother to see Kung Fu Panda. Wasn't the best movie, but it was cute and the little guy seemed to like it. Good enough for me lol.

SATURDAY:
Worked for a majority of the day, went to my Uncle's and had a couple daiquiris, went home and interneted for a little while and crashed.

SUNDAY:
I was excited because my site was Celebrity Site of the Day. Again, I worked for most of the day. I got out an hour early tho..so that was nice. Went home, showered, interneted, then did laundry. At that point, I was in need of something sweet, so I went to Rita's and got a Georgia Peach Gelati. YUMMM. Went home, watched some Sex & the City, and crashed.

MONDAY:
Had the day off. Went to Six Flags Great Adventure. And now, I'm SO SORE. The big toe that I broke a few years ago started acting up (which was strange), I have a blister on the bottom of my foot from the flip flops I was wearing (ouch), not to mention my arms, chest, back, face, and feet are all sunburned. I look like a lobster, no kidding. Anyway, I never was much of an extreme rollercoaster rider, but I shocked even myself yesterday. I went on everything except El Torro and Kingda Ka ('cause it was closed). I even did the SkyRide thing...which is usually a big no-no for me. Me + heights = Hell No! But it took us all the way across the park, so we didn't have to walk too much to get back to the car. I checked out the new Dark Knight ride...it pretty much sucked. I was disappointed. We stayed for the Glow in the Dark Parade..again, that pretty much sucked. It would've been fun for me 10 years ago, I'm sure.

Me and my friend's cousin on....I can't remember the name, but it's the one that shoots you up in the air like a rocket. Scariest thing I've ever done in my life...will NEVER do it again!

Stalking Tweety. That damn bird wouldn't stop and take a picture with me, I was so sad, LOL.
